About Glass Tea Jar with cork lid

The Glass Tea Jar is made from borosilicate glass with a ball cork lid that seals tightly to keep tea fresh. Clear glass means you can see what's in it and how much is left, so it works as a display piece as much as storage. A natural match for our cork lid teapot.

Material

  • Material: borosilicate glass with an airtight ball cork lid
  • Capacity: 500 ml
  • Height: 10 cm without the lid
  • Diameter: 9 cm at the base, 6.2 cm at the lid

Caring tips

  • The glass jar is dishwasher safe.
  • The cork lid is not. Keep it out of the dishwasher and don't leave it soaking, or the cork will swell and stop sealing. Wipe it with a damp cloth and let it dry.
  • Dry the jar fully before refilling. Any moisture left inside will shorten how long the tea keeps.
  • Store out of direct sunlight to protect colour and aroma.
Common questions
Can I use this with any Magic T tea?

Yes. It works with any of our loose leaf blends or pure herbs. Add a heaped teaspoon per cup and steep for 5 to 7 minutes, or follow the brewing tips on the tea's own page.

What if it arrives broken, or breaks while I'm using it?

If it arrives broken, we replace it. If it breaks while you're using it within the first 30 days, we replace that too. Email info@magict.co.nz with a photo and we'll sort it out. Glass is glass, and we'd rather stand behind it than argue about it.

What if I break the infuser or the lid?

It happens, and it usually doesn't mean replacing the whole thing. Email us at info@magict.co.nz with a photo and tell us which piece broke. We keep spare infusers and lids for most of our glassware and will let you know what we can do.
